On summer days, Lake Travis sounds like the perfect way to deal with the Texas heat. According to different sources, Lake Travis is THE most visited freshwater recreational destination in the state.
This day we started by having some food at The Oasis. This is a restaurant and a brewery located at the top of the hills with a fantastic view of the Lake. This also is a spot that we recommend to the travelers. It is pet friendly, prices are affordable, and they have a good variety of beers.
There is a better way to spend the day on a lake than on a boat…
Around 3 pm, we headed our way to the meeting point in Lakeway Marina and boarded our party boat. It was a great experience exploring the Lake with music and finding new spots to jump in the freshwater. Watching the beautiful sunset from the water was a great way to conclude our day of adventures in Austin.
